A group of legal services companies have raised £2000 for The Children’s Trust – a national charity providing care, education and therapy for children with multiple disabilities and complex health needs and rehabilitation for children who have an acquired brain injury.
Durham based medical evidence provider, UK Independent Medical and costs drafting firm Compass Costs Consultants held a raffle at their drinks and dinner event at Camden Restaurant Gilgamesh. In addition to prizes from UKIM and Compass, legal insurer Arag and forensic accountancy firm Forths Forensic Accountants also donated prizes for the charity raffle.
Due to the contributions from guests, the raffle generated £1000, which was then generously matched by Kiran and Hari Pabla of Pabla and Pabla Solicitors (Manchester).
Andrea Mason, marketing executive, UK Independent Medical said: “Each year we hold a social event for clients and friends, and this provides us with the perfect platform to fundraise for this very worthwhile cause. To raise £1000 was excellent, but then to have this kindly doubled by Pabla and Pabla Solicitors was just amazing.”
Prizes included corporate hospitality in UKIM’s executive box at Newcastle United Football Club and tickets for a weekend in London donated by Compass Costs.
